The term 'Cundiun', in Italian 'condiglione', derives from the verb condire and is a typical speciality of the province of Imperia.

It is a mixture of raw vegetables in salad, very rich and richly seasoned (hence the name), which looks inviting and can be used as an appetiser with slices of homemade bread.
